Short Film

2025

A short film about procrastination and how it quietly eats away at a life, written, shot, and edited entirely on an iPhone.

The idea was to make procrastination visible: not one dramatic failure, but the quiet, repeated choice to put things off that reshapes a life without ever feeling like a single decision.

Shot entirely on an iPhone, with no crew or rented gear. That meant learning color grading to hold a consistent mood across scenes shot at different times of day, building the sound design from scratch, and figuring out framing and lighting with whatever was actually on hand instead of a proper kit.

What I took from it:

  • Most "amateur" footage isn't a gear problem, it's an untouched-audio or bad-light problem, both fixable with attention, not budget.
  • Making a film about procrastination while fighting the urge to procrastinate on making it was its own lesson.
