Tailored

2026-02

A more refined take on peer-to-peer fashion rental — with a working app demo and a stronger business model than AnyWear.

AnyWear taught me a lot. Tailored is what happens when you take those lessons seriously.

The core concept is the same — peer-to-peer fashion rental, making designer clothing accessible without ownership — but Tailored approaches it differently. The business model is tighter. The unit economics are clearer. And unlike AnyWear, there's a working app demo.

After going through three pitch rounds at DragonzDen with AnyWear, I understood exactly where the holes were: trust between strangers, insurance for damaged items, the cold-start problem of building a two-sided marketplace from zero. Tailored was built with those objections already answered.

The shift in framing matters too. AnyWear was positioned around sustainability and savings. Tailored is positioned around access — the idea that the clothes you wear to a once-in-a-while event don't need to be yours. The target user is someone who cares about looking great but doesn't want to pay retail for an outfit they'll wear once.

This project is ongoing.
